How does the 7-day free trial work?

Every paid plan includes a 7-day free trial. Your card is charged only after the trial ends. You can cancel at any time before that and you will never be billed.

Can I change or cancel my plan at any time?

Yes — you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Changes to a higher plan take effect immediately; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Are refunds available?

After the 7-day trial, no refunds will be issued. We will only offer refunds within 14 days if you were charged in error or experienced a significant service outage. Contact support@seekmycontent.com with your billing details and we will review on a case-to-case basis promptly.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) through Stripe. We do not store your card details on our servers.

What video formats are supported for watermarking?

We support MP4, MOV, and WebM (video) and JPG/PNG (image). Files up to 2 GB can be uploaded. Re-encode to H.264 MP4 before uploading if you experience issues with other formats.

How long does video processing take?

Accepted Answer

Most videos finish in a few minutes. Longer or higher-resolution files (4K, 60fps) can take up to 15 minutes. You will receive an in-app notification and your Media Gallery will update automatically when processing is complete.

Can I customise the watermark position and opacity?

Accepted Answer

Yes — in the Watermark Creator you can set the text, font size, opacity (10–100%), and placement (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right, center). A multi-position diagonal pattern is also applied automatically to make removal harder.

How do I download my watermarked video?

Go to Media Gallery, find your completed video, and click Download. The file streams from our servers directly to your device. Large files may take a moment to prepare.

Are my original files stored permanently?

Original files are stored temporarily during processing and are not retained after your watermarked output is ready. Your processed (watermarked) outputs remain in your gallery until you delete them, and/or deleted after 30 days.

How does the YouTube theft scan work?

Accepted Answer

Our scanner searches YouTube for videos containing your watermark text. It combines video titles, keyword matching and visual face recognition verification to flag videos not posted from your authorized channels. Flagged videos get sent in order of when they are found to the Theft Tracker dashboard for your review. The more videos you review, the more we learn about you and the app improves its searches for your custom videos.

How often does automatic scanning run?

On the Creator plan, scans run once per week per channel. Pro runs twice a week. Gold runs every 48 hours. You can also trigger a manual scan at any time from Monitoring Settings.

What should I do when theft is detected for copyright content?

Accepted Answer

You can generate a detailed report of all detections, export it as PDF and use it to file a YouTube copyright strike (DMCA) at youtube.com/copyright_complaint_form. We provide the video URL, timestamp evidence, and watermark match confidence for your notes.

Why might some stolen videos not be detected?

Accepted Answer

Our theft detection method is designed to work with watermarked content made with this app. In addition, our system can also find your videos without the watermarked content and identify any theft channels using your content without consent. For content already watermarked on our app, this makes detection easier but depends on the watermark being visible in the video. Thieves who crop, resize, or overlay the video heavily may reduce detection confidence. High sensitivity mode in Monitoring Settings increases catch rate but may generate more false positives. When you identify false positives, the app continues to learn and improve each scan after.

Can I monitor channels I don't own?

The blacklist feature lets you flag channels repeatedly posting your content. Adding a channel to the blacklist tracks it even if no watermark is found, useful for known repeat offenders. This feature also makes it easier to track in real time and get notifications when the theft channel uploads new content. This allows users to conveniently review all blacklisted channels via the app, without having to manually check each theft channel one by one. When a blacklisted channel/video is taken down, this is also tracked via the app in real time.

What is the YouTube AI Optimizer?

The AI Optimizer analyzes your YouTube video in three layers: data collection (transcript, tags, metadata), AI analysis (scores, query opportunities, competitor benchmarking), and content optimization (AI-generated titles, descriptions, and tags). Results can be exported as a PDF report.

Creator: 5 analyses/month. Pro: 50 analyses/month. Gold: unlimited. Tag generation is capped daily (Creator: 10/day, Pro: 20/day, Gold: unlimited).

How does the YouTube Scheduler work?

Accepted Answer

After watermarking a video, go to Media Gallery and click Schedule. You can choose to publish immediately or pick a future date and time. The scheduler handles the upload to your connected YouTube channel automatically.

How do I connect my YouTube channel?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings → Connected Accounts and click Connect YouTube. You will be redirected to Google OAuth to grant publishing permissions. Only the minimum required scopes (upload + read channel info) are requested. [Note: This does NOT give us any permission to delete any videos on your Youtube channel past or present.]

How do I reset my password?

On the Sign In page, click 'Forgot password?' and enter your email. You will receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive and mark emails from us as "Not Spam" to prevent notifications being classified as junk mail.

Can I sign in with Google or Apple?

Accepted Answer

Yes — both Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In are supported. On mobile, Apple Sign-In is the recommended option for iOS users. Switching between providers for the same email address may require support assistance.

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings → Security → Delete Account. All your data including uploaded files, reports, and watermark jobs will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Connected OAuth tokens (YouTube, Instagram) are revoked immediately.

Why is my scan not running?

Accepted Answer

Check that: (1) you have added at least one authorized YouTube channel under My YouTube Channels, (2) Monitoring is enabled in Monitoring Settings, and (3) your subscription is active. If all three are correct, try a manual scan and contact support if the error persists.
